Known as Spirit, The ExPharmacist, is a pioneering pharmacist with over 30 years of experience in health, regulation, nutrition, and energy healing. Holding a Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Florida, certifications as a Consultant Pharmacist, Plant Based Nutrition, and in Current Good Manufacturing Practice, The ExPharmacist began her career in various pharmacy settings, including research hospitals, nursing homes, and retail pharmacies. As Director of Pharmacy Services at Bay Area Drug Distributors and Clinical Pharmacist at Moffitt Cancer Center, she oversaw operations, investigational drug protocols, and patient care, including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and pharmacokinetic monitoring.
Her 13 years as a Regional Drug Agent for the Florida Department of Health involved enforcing laws on drugs, cosmetics, and medical devices, educating professionals, and collaborating with federal agencies. She was a lead agent on a state and federal multi-agency case resulting in the longest federal jail time for an FDA prosecution and the largest administrative award ever granted to the state of Florida. She assisted in "Operation Goldpill" in South Florida in the late 1980s which was a massive healthcare fraud case mirroring today's systemic issues, and she worked with the State of California on a case involving Chinese communities selling "herbs" laced with dangerous prescription drugs. Although invited to join a Federal International Task Force, The ExPharmacist resigned before it began due to departmental corruption, as documented in her resignation letter which was cited in Katherine Eban's book "Dangerous Doses." The ExPharmacist routinely collaborated with experts at the University of Florida and other institutions, served on the curriculum planning committee for a pharmacy technician program, and was qualified as an expert witness in civil, administrative, and criminal courts at federal, state, and county levels.
As a keynote speaker at continuing education conventions for doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and trade schools, she shared insights on regulatory concerns, counterfeit drugs, and ethnic medicines, earning awards like the Department of Health Employee Recognition for Exceptional Public Relation Skills and a Certificate of Appreciation for her impactful work.
Her spiritual journey deepened in the 1980s when she taught Qigong and Tai Chi, guiding students in internal energy manipulation practices to cultivate balance and vitality. This foundation led to explorations in transcendental meditation, astral projection, metaphysical experiences, and UFO encounters, expanding her understanding of consciousness and energy beyond conventional medicine. After resigning from the Florida Department of Health in 2003 due to systemic corruption, The ExPharmacist became certified in plant-based nutrition, studied herbal medicine, and delved into world philosophies, integrating these with her pharmaceutical expertise to advocate for natural healing. These experiences revealed the suppression of holistic research and the industry's profit-driven motives, inspiring her to help others break free from over-medication and embrace the Creator's natural provisions for health.
